BALU SADALGE

Balu’s artworks are a translation of what he sees — the innocence, beauty, unique features, shapes and colours. He seamlessly explores the simplicity of what is, is. His artwork is a representation of a more approachable landscape. Focusing on light is a natural progression. India’s landscapes, rich with light and shade and interwoven with myriad colors, inspire his work.

His landscapes, both titled and untitled, exhibit a progression of colors from whites and yellows to greys, blues, and greens. He often transitions to cool colors with resonant flashes of white. With color as his language and contour as his tool, Balu’s art reflects the evolving spectrum of human emotions and memory.
